This week at school...
To Parents and Guardians:
This week at school...
- We practiced our assembly song and worked on a secret project that we can't wait to share with you! We hope you can join us at our assembly on May 29 @ 1:30pm!
- We played soccer games and practiced our dribbling, passing, and kicking skills.
- We finished our First Nations inspired art by adding a pattern to the border.
- Classes researched about prairie animals including bison, moose, gophers, antelope and prairie dogs!
- In Math, grade one students worked on open-ended problems. These problems have more than one answer! Grade two students practiced a new game called Building Bridges and another game called Monster Mansion.
- In the Learning Commons, most of us finished our boats and took a video or picture.
- We started a new Science unit about Small Crawling and Flying animals! Did you know insects and arachnids are invertebrates?! That means they have no backbones.
On Thursday, May 30 we are going to Bowness Park! We still need 3-4 volunteers to join us.
Have an EPIC long weekend!
