As part of our study of Saskatoon, students have been learning about prairie animals. This week we did First Nations inspired art of the prairie animals we are studying. Students drew and cut a simple background shape of the animal, then added smaller shapes to add detail and texture. Next week we will finish up by adding a patterned border to match the colours used in the rest of the piece - stay tuned for more photos of our finished artwork!
