Exciting things happening next week!

Hello Families!

In addition to our curling field trip, there are many exciting things happening next week that we wanted you to be informed about:

On Monday and Wednesday students will participate in whole-school caroling as a time to bring all of our students together during this busy season.

Leadership Club has been busy planning mini events for students in the school. Leadership students will be hosting the following sessions:

Monday December 17:
  • 2:35-2:50pm - Reading Club for Gr 1 -3
On the last day of reading, we are going to get the kids to write holiday words they know to go with the story.
  • 12:10 – 12:35pm-  Arts and Writing for Gr 1-3

Tuesday December 18:
  • 2:35-2:50pm – Math games for Gr 1-5
  • 2:35 – 2:50pm – Technology for Gr. 1-2  (How to draw and design on the I-Pads)

Thursday December 20:
  • 2:35-2:50pm – Arts and Writing for Gr. 1-3. Repeat session from Monday

Thursday, December 20 will also be Pajama Day! Students are encouraged to come to school in their coziest winter pj's. Stuffed animals are welcome to join as well - but please label them so they do not get lost. If a stuffed animal is your child's most prized possession, please have a conversation at home about being responsible with our things before sending the stuffy to school.

While this will be a week full of fun and excitement as we anticipate our winter holidays, this will also be a regular week of school full of learning! Please support us by reminding your child that even when we are having fun, we need to be kind, safe, welcoming, and respectful!

Thank you!
