Students have expressed interest in using materials from around the house and classroom to build a community. Together we brainstormed some of the materials we may need in order to do this:
- small boxes
- plasticine/playdough
- paper towels rolls (no toilet paper rolls, please!)
- aluminum foil or trays/plates
- wiki sticks
- toothpicks
- popsicle sticks
- pipecleaners
As this is a student-led project, students have been asked to take responsibility to collect items they would like to use. Please take some time to ask your child about this exciting project and discuss what he or she may be able to bring in from your recycling bin or craft cupboard to use.
Please note that any materials sent in will likely not be returned, so we ask you do not send anything valuable or precious in!
Thank you for your on-going support!
