Hello Parents,
As noted in the weekly update sent by admin on Friday, classes will all be participating in a Gymnastics unit for the rest of the month during our regular Physical Education classes. Students will explore different ways of moving, balancing, and tumbling during this time.
We are kindly requesting that students come to school prepared for this by wearing more fitted clothing (dresses and baggy shirts may become caught or hinder your child's ability to move freely) and refraining from wearing jewelry such as necklaces and hoop earrings. Additionally, if your child has long hair, please ensure to send an elastic to school or have your child's hair pulled back into a ponytail or braid. For these classes, students will not be wearing socks or shoes unless they are athletic soft-soled shoes such as those used in dance or martial arts. Regular runners and grippy socks will not be allowed. If your child has a plantar wart, please ensure it is covered either with proper footwear or a bandaid.
Thank you so much for helping us keep your children safe during this exciting unit!
